The Wound Management Resource Program is a step by step modularised wound education course which enables the learner to develop practical skills in wound management and resource development.
This program is the equivalent of 130 hours of learning and has received endorsement from Wounds Australia.
The course is divided into 3 modules of online learning plus associated clinical assessment activities. The following areas are covered:
Webinars with wound management specialists supplements the program. A Clinical skills workshop is available for organisational group bookings in consultation with WLE.
The Wound Management Resource Program encompasses both formative and summative assessments throughout. Formative assessments allow students to evaluate their knowledge and skills against program learning outcomes. Summative assessments evaluate students understanding of key program learning outcomes and application to clinical practice environment.
On completion of the program, certification is provided by William Light Education with Wounds Australia endorsement. An option to complete individual modules without endorsements is available.
